Corey Singman is the driving force behind the Investment Banking and Real Estate activities of the Firm. Having enjoyed a very successful career as an investment banker, merchant banker and principal investor, Mr. Singman brings with him a unique skill set which enable him to source, structure, and fund public and private transactions. Additionally, Mr. Singman has extensive personal and professional experience in real estate development.
Mr. Singman served as lead investment banker to Smith Electric Vehicles US Corporation (SEVUS), (www.smithelectricvehicles.com), the world’s leading fully electric commercial truck manufacturer. Mr. Singman was the architect of the founding structure of SEVUS allowing for consolidation of the worldwide business in December 2010. Mr. Singman led the purchase of Gourmet Express Inc., a leading frozen food manufacturer based in Greeneville, KY. Mr. Singman acted in a similar capacity by leading the purchase of Calgon/The Healing Garden and it’s subsequent acquisition of St. Joseph’s Baby Aspirin from Johnson and Johnson.
Mr. Singman’s Real Estate development projects include 127 Madison (M127) and 290 Mulberry (www.290mulberry.com), each representing $25mm+, twelve story, mixed use, contemporary structures. Mr. Singman graduated from the University of Maryland with a degree in English and maintains Series 7 and Series 63 FINRA licenses.
