George D’Avanzo is CEO of Wynston Hill Capital. Mr. D’Avanzo has been in the financial services business for the last 18 years as an owner executive and founder of several financial companies. Prior to Wynston Hill, Mr. D’Avanzo co-founded the Arjent “group of companies”. Originally established in 1999, Arjent was an independent, multi-faceted investment firm with offices in London, New York, Chicago, Boulder, and San Francisco. Mr. Davanzo’s companies have offered an array of high-quality investment services and opportunities to individuals, corporations, broker-dealers, independent representatives and institutional investors worldwide. Prior to his involvement in the brokerage industry, Mr. D’Avanzo was a auditor and consultant as a Manager with Ernst & Young Kenneth Leventhal & Co.
Mr. D’Avanzo has held the professional designation of FINRA Series 24, 27, 7 and 63, and was a practicing Certified Public Accountant (CPA). Mr. D’Avanzo was also qualified as a member of the Financial Services Authority (FSA) in England, as a registered Executive Officer, Director, Finance and Compliance Officer. Mr. D’Avanzo graduated from Syracuse University School of Management in 1989 with a B.S. in Accounting.
Mr. D’Avanzo was born in 1967 and resides in Westchester New York with his spouse, Michele and their three children.
